In November, things got a little dicey with the PTSD because of integrating/combining more alternate personalities. So, I cut back from two days a week to one during this time.
I picked up in December going back to two days a week. On one of the days, I would join in on the adult coloring class and the other day, I would find myself in the craft room chatting and crocheting with the ladies.
Once the rest of the personalities were combined with my main personality, I started to feel more confidence around people in general.
Yesterday, I received a call from my worker and she told me I had maxed out on time for the program and today could be my last day if I wanted it to be. I said, "YES!" While I had come to thoroughly enjoy the program and the people, I was ready to move forward.
The picture is my latest creation from the coloring class. I will take all three of my colored pictures, place a sheet of colored paper behind it and have them lamenated. They will be used as placemats. This was an excellent suggestion from the woman who led the class. Several people want me to keep in touch and I will. I have made some new great friends who have seen me come a long way in the three months we were together. I might even visit them from time to time when my schedule allows.
